Our room was not only bright, but also new-fashioned with the complimentary breakfast, kitchenettes, as for instance. A microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge were a big plus. The accommodation had a central location in a very good area

Because of a problem with the standard double room I was upgraded and had great-sized and recently refurbished room with a great bed. Location: the hotel was close enough to the main centre, the nearby shopping complex where there is an IGA, pizza place, liquor store, and restaurant...

The location was a solid winner; it was super convenient because there were supermarkets nearby, which made grabbing snacks and drinks a breeze. When it comes to the room, I really loved how spacious it was. Seriously, there was a nice lounge area that made relaxing after a long day feel so much nicer. The bed? So comfy, I actually wondered if I could take it home with me! They had all the essentials covered too—tea, coffee, a kettle, and even a toaster, which came in handy for quick breakfasts. I did wish there was a sharper knife and maybe a microwave-safe dish, though, but that’s just me being picky. Now, let's talk air conditioning. It worked really well, and thank goodness for that because it was summer, and things were pretty toasty outside. One thing that was a bit annoying was this draughty gap around the door frame. I mean, I was getting cold air sneaking in, which didn’t exactly help with the comfort level. The bathroom was modern and had nice wall-mounted toiletries, so I appreciated that. But, here’s where it got a bit frustrating—on the fourth day, I started to notice a sewer smell in the room. Not exactly something you want to deal with while you're trying to kick back and relax. Now, as for maintenance, there were some hiccups. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall during my first use , and the blinds were broken. Plus, there was this weird noise throughout the night that I assumed was coming from the hot water service. It didn’t keep me awake, but still—it was a little distracting. And the toilet door handle jammed, so I had to wait until I got to a coffee shop to relieve myself! On the cleaning front, I spotted a dirty teaspoon in the drawer, which was kind of off-putting. I made sure to leave it on the sink for the cleaner since I'm sure they want to keep things on the up and up, you know? I did appreciate that parking was available right outside the room, though that area felt a bit tight if you’re driving a larger vehicle. Just a minor squeeze! Oh, and while there were no garden furniture or room service to boast about, the vibe still managed to feel homey, mostly because of the sitting area. I didn't use the washing machine or flat-screen TV much, but it was nice to know they were there if I needed them. So yeah, a blend of positives and things that needed a bit more care. Not the worst stay by any means, but definitely some areas that could use a touch-up!
